Happy New Year. January is one of my favorite times of year for one reason: State of the Interactive Product Demo Report season.

Every year, we review trends and benchmarks for our customer demos. I personally go through the websites of the top 1% of demos to see how they’re used.

One shift stood out to me:

  • Last year was the year of the demo center.

  • This year? Demos are everywhere on the website.

Nearly 1 in 5 B2B SaaS websites now feature an interactive demo CTA.

And not buried: 80% of top sites promote demos above the fold or in the navbar.

About half place demos are placed in multiple spots, most often on product pages, homepages, and demo centers.

“Take a Tour” is no longer an indie little CTA. Interactive demos are becoming the mainstream way B2B SaaS companies show their product on their website.
