Happy Friday,

This week I'm updating our demos for our new MCP launch.

I realized I was slightly dreading going in and making changes to all of them. But last week, building a brand new demo for that same launch felt like fun.

Why does building new content feel like a creative flow, while updating old content feels so manual?

Sahil Patel, CEO of Spiralyze, put it perfectly in a LinkedIn comment:

Comment on my LinkedIn post on updating demos

To make it less of a chore, instead of manually combing through every demo, I chained two new Skills from our MCP together:

  • Feature launch demo updater: maps a shipped feature to the exact demo steps referencing the old version

  • Staleness triage: ranks demos by traffic and staleness to flag what to fix first

I still made manual tweaks to the demos after (also telling it exactly which captures to swap in helps). But it turned a dreaded chore into a five-minute triage.

Want to replicate the Skills I used? See our full MCP Skill Library.
